🌳 BAM Holdings' CSR Plants 1,078 Trees to Honour Founder & Boost Carbon Sequestration

• BAM Holdings Ltd undertook a major CSR initiative, planting a total of 1,078 plants at the Maduru Oya Special Forces Camp to commemorate the 78th birth anniversary of its late founder, Mr. B. A. Mahipala. • The project was spearheaded by the CSR team of Thermo Plastics (Pvt) Ltd, a leading flexible packaging manufacturer under the Group. • Plant Composition: The effort included 1,000 Mee plants, 50 Ehela plants, and 28 fruit plants, continuing the founder's "Mother Earth is Our Sustenance" motto. • Strategic Goal: The initiative aims to enhance the local ecosystem's carbon sequestration capacity, with plans to develop it into an "insetting initiative" to compensate for the company's operational emissions.
