• Blue Lanka Tours has donated two brand new motorboats, valued at Rs. 2.6 million, to the Sri Lanka Disaster Management Centre. • The donation is a direct response to the destruction caused by the Ditwah cyclone, aiming to bolster ongoing rescue and relief efforts. • The fibreglass boat and Suzuki 2-stroke outboard boat are designed for challenging operations in flooded areas, providing vital access where traditional transport is limited. • These boats will serve as permanent assets for the government, deployable for future disaster response, routine rescue operations, flood preparedness, and community transport in vulnerable regions.
