🙏 CBL Samaposha Marks Over Two Decades of Community Support at Kandy Esala Perahera

CBL Samaposha, a leading brand under Plenty Foods / CBL Group in Sri Lanka's FMCG and agriculture processing sectors, has extended its long-standing community wellbeing initiative at the Kandy Esala Perahera for 2026, marking over 20 years of involvement since 2003. • Initiative Scale: CBL Samaposha is distributing 20,000 CBL Samaposha Aggala packs daily over the 5-day Randoli Perahera, reaching a total of 100,000 packs for pilgrims around the Sri Dalada Maligawa precinct. • Performer & Staff Support: An additional ~2,000 Aggala packs per day will be distributed via the four Devalayas to support traditional dancers, performers, and event staff. • Public-Private Partnership: Conducted in collaboration with the Kandy District Secretariat since 2010, ensuring structured and responsible delivery to thousands of attendees. • Economic & Social Context: Demonstrates sustained corporate social responsibility (CSR) and investment in community nutrition within Sri Lanka's vital food manufacturing and cultural tourism landscape.
