The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has initiated a comprehensive national survey to gather data for the development of the National Financial Inclusion Strategy (NFIS) Phase II. • Scope & Reach: The survey covers all 25 districts, spanning 480 Grama Niladhari Divisions to ensure a representative national sample. • Objectives: Aims to identify current awareness levels, usage patterns, and specific barriers preventing access to formal financial services. • Implementation: Conducted by Kantar Lanka (Pvt) Ltd on behalf of the CBSL. • Economic Impact: Data will be used to drive inclusive growth and improve financial access for underserved segments, supporting long-term economic stability.
