CH17 Launches Digital Privilege Card for Disaster Relief Heroes 🤝

• CH17 has announced a nationwide initiative themed "Rebuild Sri Lanka" to honour individuals and groups supporting ongoing post-cyclone disaster relief and recovery efforts. • The core plan is to issue 10,000 special digital privilege cards to first responders, volunteers, donors, welfare teams, and media personnel. • The digital card (QR code, unique ID) will allow recipients to access special discounts funded entirely by participating merchants and retailers. • CH17 is urging thousands of private merchants, shops and service providers to join the goodwill effort, strengthening the recognition layer for national rebuilding. • This program follows the successful humanitarian recognition system (CARE Program) previously deployed by CH17 during the COVID-19 pandemic (2020-2021). • CH17 has also developed a complementary program to assist aid agencies in real-time monitoring of relief distribution processes.
