• Treasury Inflows & Foreign Demand: Net foreign inflows hit Rs. 8.06 Bn (+3.98% WoW) for the week ended 25 August—the 12th consecutive week of net inflows. Total foreign holdings of rupee Treasuries reached Rs. 210.56 Bn, the highest level since November 2018. • Money Market & Foreign Exchange: System liquidity crossed the Rs. 300 Bn mark to hit a 23-week high of Rs. 318.13 Bn (up from Rs. 278.51 Bn). Weighted average Call Money and Repo rates stood at 8.84% and 8.90%. The LKR appreciated to close at Rs. 327.98/328.04 per USD, with average daily traded volume reaching $ 92.50 Mn. • Bonds & T-Bill Auction Results: • Secondary Market: Yield curve shifted downward on strong buying momentum (e.g., 2030 tenors dropped from 10.75% to 10.50%). • T-Bills: Yields fell for the 7th straight week; 91-day (-16 bps to 9.06%), 182-day (-16 bps to 9.44%), and 364-day (-2 bps to 9.89%). PDMO raised the full offered Rs. 120 Bn (subscription ratio: 2.86x). • T-Bonds: Fully raised target Rs. 50 Bn in phase 1 (subscription ratio: 4.70x). 01.08.30 issued at 10.54%; 15.03.35 issued at 11.70%.
