• The 8th annual Western Province Entrepreneur Awards, jointly organised by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) and NEDA, honoured outstanding accomplishments across Micro, Small, Medium, and Large enterprises. • A total of 54 awards were presented across various sectors including Industry/Manufacturing, Agriculture, Hospitality/Tourism, and Services. • The top honours of the event were: • Gold (Overall Winner): Hayleys Fabric PLC • Silver (1st Runner-up): TBS International (Pvt) Ltd. • Bronze (2nd Runner-up): Three Sinha Industries (Pvt) Ltd. • The ceremony featured 12 thematic awards, including categories like Best Exporter, Best Innovative Enterprise, and Best Entrepreneur Providing the Most Jobs for Females. • Notable Thematic Winners: Luxman Metal Crushers Ltd. (Best Woman Entrepreneur) and Infinity Green International Ltd. (Best Environmentally Friendly Enterprise).
