🇱🇰 Hemas Holdings Announces Major Board Leadership Transition

• Ajith Fernando will assume the role of Chairman of Hemas Holdings PLC, effective 1st January 2026. He is a veteran in investment banking with over 30 years of experience. • Husein Esufally, who led Hemas for over four decades as CEO and Chairman, will retire from the Board on 31st December 2025. • Murtaza Esufally, currently Chairman of the Healthcare cluster, has been appointed Deputy Chairman, effective 1st January 2026. • Deputy Chairman Dr. Anura Ekanayake will also retire on 31st December 2025 upon completion of his term. • The transition is aimed at ensuring a seamless handover and strengthening leadership for the Group's next phase of growth and innovation.
