The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon (EFC) has appointed Yashoravi Bakmiwewa as its 14th Director General, marking a historic shift in the organization’s 97-year history. • The Milestone: Bakmiwewa is the first female Director General in EFC history and the first woman to head an Employers’ Business Member Organisation (EBMO) in South Asia.
