📈 IRCSL Launches National Insurance Awareness Campaign in Kurunegala & Kuliyapitiya

The Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (IRCSL), alongside the Insurance Association of Sri Lanka (IASL), is conducting public awareness programs on July 23–24, 2026, under the theme _"Insurance for All: For a Secure Future"_. • Key Objectives: Boost public financial literacy, drive national insurance penetration, and promote long-term financial resilience across regional communities. • Event Schedule & Venues: • Kurunegala (July 23): Provincial Council Auditorium (2 sessions: 9:30 AM–12:30 PM & 1:30 PM–4:30 PM). • Kuliyapitiya (July 24): Wayamba University of Sri Lanka (9:30 AM–12:30 PM). • Industry Participation: All 29 licensed life and general insurance companies in Sri Lanka will participate alongside key regulatory and professional bodies (financial services). • Program Highlights: • Industry Roadshow: Direct public access to insurance advisors for product guidance and policyholder rights education. • Career & Employment: Dedicated Career Guidance Desk for university students, graduates, and job seekers to submit CVs and explore career paths within the insurance sector. • SME & Public Focus: Tailored educational sessions for public sector officials, bankers, and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to mitigate business financial risks.
