ā¢ Executive Transition: Seasoned banking professional Jonathan Alles has been appointed as the Chairman of Singer Finance (Lanka) PLC, effective 12 September 2026. He previously joined the board on 5 March 2026. ā¢ Leadership Background: Alles brings over 37 years of experience in the banking and financial services sectors. He was formerly the MD/CEO of Hatton National Bank PLC (HNB) and served as Chairman of the Sri Lanka Banks Association and Asian Bankers Association. ā¢ Industry Experience: He has held key leadership positions across several major financial and corporate entities, including HNB Finance PLC, Acuity Partners, and Lanka Clear Ltd, alongside international stints with HSBC and National Bank of Abu Dhabi. ā¢ Qualifications: Holds a First Class MBA in Finance from the University of Stirling, UK, and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka.
