• National Carrier Chairman Sarath Ganegoda and Director Rohan Goonetilleke have resigned from the Boards of both SriLankan Airlines and SriLankan Catering, effective 31 March 2026. • Dimal Arandara, a former Chairman of Sri Lanka Telecom, has been appointed as Acting Chairman by the Treasury to ensure operational continuity during the transition. • The resignations come at a critical time as the aviation sector faces significant global and operational pressures; however, no official reasons for the departures were disclosed. • The reconstituted Board now includes Acting Chairman Arandara, Flt./Lt. (Retd.)
