Efforts included: • Evacuation assistance with A-Pad trained rescue teams. • Delivery of food, clean water, and essential supplies, especially to hard-to-reach areas. • Post-flood clean-up, clearing debris, mud, and hazards with local authorities. • The company worked closely with government officials and local businesses, highlighting the value of public-private collaboration during crises. • Future plans include establishing a safe, accessible community stronghold facility on higher ground, equipped to support residents during future flood events. • CEO Rajiv Meewakkala emphasised that building climate resilience protects both operations and community livelihoods, investing in infrastructure and knowledge sharing to strengthen Sri Lanka's disaster management ecosystem.
