📰 SLIC Life Appoints Nalin Subasinghe as New CEO

• Nalin Subasinghe has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of Sri Lanka Insurance Life (SLIC Life), effective 3 November 2025. • Subasinghe brings over 21 years of extensive experience in the insurance industry, including 15 years in C-Suite leadership positions across both Life and General sectors. • His background includes roles as Chief Actuarial Officer/GM at HNB Assurance PLC/HNB General Insurance Ltd. and Union Assurance PLC (Vice President, John Keells Holdings PLC). • He is currently the Vice President of the Actuarial Association of Sri Lanka (AASL). • SLIC Life, the largest government-owned life insurer, manages a total asset base of Rs. 264 Billion and holds the industry's largest Life Fund at Rs. 239 Billion. • The company is the only life insurer in Sri Lanka to hold a Fitch Rating of A+ (lka) for long-term financial stability.
