🏆 SLIC Life Wins Top ‘Excellence in CSR’ Award for Education

Sri Lanka Insurance Life (SLIC Life) was honored for ‘Excellence in CSR’ with the award for “Support and Improvement in Quality of Education” at the Sri Lanka Leadership Awards 2025. • This recognition highlights SLIC Life’s continued commitment to making education a central pillar of its CSR strategy, aligning with community upliftment and cultural preservation. • School Infrastructure Support: The nationwide "Pasal Piriyatha Surakimu" program, launched in 2007, has benefitted over 3,365 underprivileged schools island-wide by improving infrastructure, water access, and facilities. The latest phase (May 2025) saw 100 schools revitalized simultaneously. • Student Scholarships: The "Suba Pathum Scholarship Program," introduced in 2014, has recognized over 2,200 high-achieving students from policyholder families, awarding total financial scholarships exceeding Rs 240 Mn. • 2025 Impact: In 2025 alone, 225 students who excelled at the Grade 5, GCE Ordinary Level, and GCE Advanced Level examinations received scholarships to further their academic journey.
