• Event & Overview: The inaugural meeting of the Sri Lanka Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Alumni Association took place on 8 October 2026 at Hotel Taj Samudra, Colombo. • Target Audience: The association unifies Sri Lankan professionals across government, semi-government, and private sectors who completed capacity-building training in India under the ITEC program. • Core Mission: Aims to strengthen bilateral ties between Sri Lanka and India by fostering professional networking, knowledge sharing, capacity development, and community-focused initiatives. • Key Outcomes: An Executive Committee was elected—comprising a President, Vice Presidents, General Secretary, Treasurer, and sectoral committee members—to drive future activities and mentor prospective Sri Lankan ITEC participants.
