• Secondary Bond Market: Yields moved upward across maturities amid healthy transaction volumes and active trading. - 15.12.29 maturity traded at 10.75% - 01.08.30 traded between 11.10%–11.15% - 15.10.30 traded between 11.10%–11.30% - 01.02.31 traded between 11.15%–11.30% - 15.12.32 traded between 11.65%–11.75% - 01.06.33 traded at 11.70%–11.72% - 15.10.34 traded between 11.90%–11.97% • Money Market & Liquidity: Net liquidity surplus reached Rs. 111.06 Bn. - Rs. 68.06 Bn deposited at CBSL’s SDFR (8.25%). - CBSL mopped up liquidity via repo auctions: Overnight (Rs. 33 Bn at 8.74%), 7-day term (Rs. 10 Bn at 8.75%), and 28-day term (Rs. 40 Bn at 9.15%). - Weighted average rates: Call money at 8.93%, Repos at 8.99%. • Foreign Exchange: The Rupee depreciated against the US Dollar. Spot USD/LKR closed at Rs. 330.30/330.60, compared to Rs. 329.50/329.80 in the previous session. Total USD/LKR traded volume stood at US$ 90.30 Mn (as of Sept 23).
