• Foreign Exchange (Forex): The Sri Lankan rupee appreciated in the spot market to 328.20/30 against the US dollar, up from 328.45/60 the previous day. Telegraphic transfer rates stood at 323.90 buying / 332.90 selling for USD, 374.37 buying / 388.15 selling for EUR, and 437.48 buying / 451.59 selling for GBP. • Government Securities: Treasury bond yields quoted slightly higher across key maturities. The 15.10.2030 bond rose to 10.73/78% (from 10.68/75%), while the 15.10.2034 bond increased to 11.75/80% (from 11.65/75%). Other maturities traded at: - 15.05.2030: 10.45/55% - 01.10.2032: 11.05/15% - 15.01.2033: 11.20/30% - 15.08.2036: 11.83/90% • Equity Markets: The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) gained momentum. The All Share Price Index (ASPI) rose by 0.32% (+67.83 points) to 21,462, while the S&P SL20 index gained 0.46% (+27.68 points) to reach 6,022.
