⢠Foreign Exchange Market: The Sri Lankan rupee strengthened to 327.90/328.05 against the US dollar in the spot market, up from 328.10/30 on Monday. ⢠Telegraphic transfer (TT) rates: - US Dollar: Rs. 323.70 buying / Rs. 332.70 selling - Euro: Rs. 373.42 buying / Rs. 387.20 selling - British Pound: Rs. 437.51 buying / Rs. 451.61 selling ⢠Government Securities: Bond yields softened across several tenors, with notable easing on the belly end of actively quoted maturities: - 15.12.2029: 10.25/35% (vs 10.25/30%) - 01.08.2030: 10.45/50% (flat) - 15.10.2030: 10.50/53% (down from 10.52/55%) - 15.12.2032: 10.98/11.00% (down from 11.00/10%) - 15.08.2036: 11.75/80% (flat) ⢠Equity Market: The Colombo Stock Exchange recorded positive momentum: - ASPI: Up +0.23% (+50.05 points) to 21,388.74 - S&P SL20: Up +0.09% (+5.51 points) to 6,015.19
