⢠Foreign Exchange Market: Sri Lanka's rupee appreciated to close at 330.75/331.25 against the US dollar in the spot market on Friday, strengthening from 331.50/90 in the previous trading session. ⢠Government Securities & Debt: Treasury bond yields broadly eased across maturities: - 2027 Maturity: Sept 15, 2027 bond closed lower at 9.85/10.00% (down from 9.90/10.05%). - 2028ā2029 Maturities: Dec 15, 2028 bond closed at 10.50/70%; Sept 15, 2029 bond fell to 10.85/90% (down from 10.90/11.00%). - 2030ā2032 Maturities: Aug 1, 2030 bond fell to 11.20/25% (down from 11.30/40%); Dec 15, 2032 bond closed at 11.60/70% (down from 11.70/80%). - Long-term Maturities: Nov 1, 2033 bond settled at 11.80/88% (from 11.80/85%); Oct 15, 2034 bond dropped to 11.95/12.05% (down from 12.00/15%).
