Vidullanka’s Rs. 1.8 Bn Ranna Solar Project Completed, Awaits Grid Connection 📈

• Investment & Capacity: Vidullanka PLC has completed the construction of its 10 MW Ranna Solar Power Project with a total investment of Rs. 1.8 billion. • Joint Venture: Developed under DPV Solar Energy Ltd., a 50:50 joint venture partnership between Vidullanka PLC and the David Pieris Group. • Grid Integration: Construction of the project is fully complete; final testing, commissioning, and commercial operations are pending energisation of the grid interconnection line by Electricity Distribution Ltd. (EDL). • Impact: The project will add 10 MW of renewable energy capacity to Sri Lanka's national grid upon commissioning, expanding Vidullanka’s domestic solar generation footprint.
